Mourinho ruled out to direct Mina at Everton

After the departure of Rafa Benítez from Everton’s technical management, several have been the names that have been linked to assume the position. Yerry Mina’s team, which is currently managed on an interim basis by Duncan Ferguson, is in search of a new coach.

One of the options handled from England was the arrival of José Mourinho, who is currently managing AS Roma in Serie A. The Portuguese was under consideration by the board of directors, however, from Italy they denied that the coach left the capital club.

“José Mourinho will not leave AS Roma during the season. He definitely stays and plans the future of Roma: Everton’s job is not in their plans as things stand“, reported the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sports.

The other five candidates that Everton handles for its technical direction are: Wayne Rooney (Derby County), Frank Lampard, Roberto Martínez (Belgium), Graham Potter (Brighton) and Rudi García. While your future is defined, Duncan Ferguson, who had already worked under Carlo Ancelotti, will continue as caretaker manager of the club.
