Wednesday, June 29, was the last session scheduled by the CCAS for the cognitive mobilization memory workshop. It is a child of Moussan Nancy Guillon, psychologist specializing in clinical neuropsychology and cognitive psychopathology of the France Alzheimer association, who provided the lessons throughout the season.
The elders appreciated his skills and his kindness, they ask for more for the start of the school year. This last lesson made it possible to remember the song like a thief in order to decipher the words and to work the auditory attention and also the memory. Then a memorization game took place by adding each time a word to a sentence, in the end more than 20 expressions were retained by the audience. Working memory was challenged with numbers to remember and put in order. A span of 7 out of 10 was achieved, proof that these ladies have memory. At the end of the session, Eliane Palacio and the mayor, Jean-Marie Monié, offered an excellent dessert; proof that the workshop worked well, they did not forget to taste it. Marie Durand and Jacquie Gleyzes have already made an appointment at the beginning of September for a long-awaited new season.
