The cinema industry was down during Corona. Successful film productions such as “Avatar 2”, “Greece” or “Super Mario Bros. Film” now seem to have brought regarding a recovery. In the first three months of the year, more than one million visitors came to Austrian cinemas, 55 percent more than in 2022, according to the Association of Cinema, Culture and Entertainment Companies of the Austrian Economic Chamber.
