The President of the Republic, Head of State, HE Mohamed Bazoum, received on Tuesday March 21, 2023, the former British Prime Minister, Mr. Tony Blair.
Mr. Tony Blair, who is visiting Niger for the first time, announced that his organization, the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) will launch, with the agreement of President Mohamed Bazoum, a project in Niger to support the government in the reforms that he implements.
“Niger has challenges, and it is a country of great strategic importance in today’s world,” he said.
Niger is a great hope for the international community, he added, underlining the efforts of the President of the Republic to improve the living conditions of the Nigerien populations.
“It is a great pleasure and a great honor for me to be in Niger,” concluded the former British Prime Minister.
