As MSI has officially announced, all of the manufacturer’s current motherboards will receive a corresponding BIOS update with updated firmware to support 64 GiByte DDR5 modules for up to 256 GiByte total capacity.
Like MSI now in an official one Press release has announced, all of the manufacturer’s current mainboards, regardless of whether they are AMD’s Ryzen 7000 or Intel’s Core 13000 and 14000, will receive a corresponding BIOS update with updated firmware in order to then have a total storage capacity of up to with the latest 64 GiByte DDR5 memory modules up to 128/256 GiByte. The first motherboards with AMD’s 600 and Intel’s 700 and 600 chipsets in the manufacturer’s portfolio have already been updated, with more to follow in March.

Things look a little different with the manufacturer’s current mainboards with Intel’s LGA1700 socket for the hybrid Intel Core 13000 (“Raptor Lake”) and Core 14000 (“Raptor Lake Refresh”). The following models have already received an update to support up to 256 GiBytes of RAM.
