New Delhi ∙ The Supreme Court can continue the security provided by the central government to businessman Mukesh Ambani and his family. Dismissing the PIL, a bench comprising Chief Justice NV Ramana, Justices Krishna Murari and Hima Koli ordered the continuation of security.
The Tripura High Court had asked to produce information regarding the threat to Mukesh Ambani and his family and the security provided to him and to submit a report on the type of security provided.
The court sought the report following a petition filed in the Tripura High Court questioning the security provided by the Center to Ambani. After this, a Public Interest Litigation was also filed in the Supreme Court.
