Municipal elections: the results of the other localities that voted for mayors and community leaders

The elections on Sunday, July 23, ended the day at six in the afternoon. With a stake election that oscillated between 65% y 80% the elections ended in 19 towns in the interior of Cordoba.

In the cities of Toro Pujio and North Pampaista they presented themselves unique lists, so there was no need to pay. While the town of the wellswho also voted this Sunday, postponed their elections to October to coincide with the presidential elections.

The following were affected departments of the province: Calamuchita, Axis Cross, General Rock, Juarez Celman, Dry River, Roque Saenz Rock, San Justo, Santa Maria, Third Up and Tulumba.

The most important elections were held in the city of General Deheza and in the municipalities of Embalse, Reducción, Villa Valeria, San Marcos Sierras, Río de los Sauces, Mattaldi, Los Cisnes, Villa Parque Santa Ana and Serrano.

Calamuchita Department

  • Reservoir. The current ruling party promotes the figure of Carlos Alessandri. Provincial Justicialism (Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba) registered Mario Rivarola as a candidate for the highest local executive position. Together for Change leads Alejandro Vives, the favorite of this contest, as a candidate for mayor.

  • Calmayo Park. The official candidate for Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba, Yamil Mengo Becil (son of the current community president), Mario Astrada of Somos Calmayo (UCR and Civic Front) and Fernando Delgado (PRO) will face each other.

  • Willow River. For the party of Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba, Carlos Acosta and for Together for Change, Mario Ferreyra.

Department Cross of the Axis

  • San Marcos Sierras. The current neighborhood mayor, César Briguera, cannot run for re-election and supports the candidacy of Carlos Sosa through the Neighborhood Action Movement. A coalition of Kirchner forces has José “Capi” Tulián as a candidate, leading the Tay Pichín list.   • General Deheza. They will face each other in the elections, Oscar Flores Ferrando of Alternativa Vecinal, Lelio Dedominici of Hacemos Unidos for Córdoba, Susana Bertero for the Radical Civic Union.

  • The Swans. For the ruling party of Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba, Romina Fernanda Sargiotto; Aldo Gabriel Truant for Vamos Los Cisnes; Justo María Maldonado from United for the Swans.
