Mortality rates as a result of cardiovascular diseases have reached the lowest values in the history of Russia. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko.
“Having come out of pandemic threats, we also got an excellent result in reducing mortality – today we have one of the lowest overall mortality rates from cardiovascular diseases,” said Mikhail Murashko at the Medicine Affordable to Everyone forum in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk ( quote from RIA Novosti).
According to him, the Ministry of Health is using new approaches to provide medical care as part of a project to combat cardiovascular diseases. Mr. Murashko added that medical care, including surgical care, is getting closer to patients.
