Rome – US citizen Amanda Knox, who was finally acquitted in 2015 of the murder of British exchange student Meredith Kercher, must go back to court in Italy. The Supreme Court in Rome has accepted an appeal by Knox’s defense once morest sentencing her client to a three-year sentence for libel. The new trial will take place before an appeals court in Florence.
