A couple was murdered in Mexico City and would have had ties to the Unión Tepito criminal group. The victims owned Dolls Drinks, a bar famous for its licuachelas in Tepito, and apparently refused to pay extortion.

On Wednesday night Diana Odeli Rodríguez and her husband Adrián Mendoza were directly attacked by two men on a motorcycle who fled. She was the niece of Pancho Cayagua, the founder of Unión Tepito, who in 2017 was executed in the same way when he was in his car.
According to the first investigations, the couple was executed for refusing to pay extortion at their liqueur business, Dolls Drinks, located in Tepito. Diana Odeli’s daughter went to recognize the bodies and then left a message on the networks: “They took my life. Dads took my life, thank you for so much, I love you, don’t leave me, ”Barbie wrote, as she identifies herself on social networks, along with photos of her parents.
Police reports indicate that one of the addresses of the Union Congress from which the couple left is a constant meeting point. Neighbors of the Tres Estrellas neighborhood assured that there are parties very frequently and that the attendees own luxury cars.
