Manama: Bahrain Pratibha Sahityavedi organized a face-to-face program with Malayalam mission director and poet Murugan Kattakada. He said that the Malayalam Mission is making a big effort to teach Malayalam language to all the Malayalams in the world.
He added that poetry and literature are meant to unite people and that literature and language have great relevance in this era where people are making great efforts to divide and create new history by erasing and distorting history. Therefore, he said that we have the responsibility to impart language and literature to the new generation and the work done by expatriates and expatriate organizations in this regard is commendable.
In the face-to-face session that followed, the poet interacted with the audience by reciting his poems and answering questions from the audience.
