Taipei – Tesla founder Elon Musk has been reprimanded by Taiwan for his renewed interference in tense relations between the democratic island and China. “Listen, Taiwan is not part of the People’s Republic of China and certainly not for sale,” Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Wu said to Musk on Thursday. Musk had previously commented on the tense situation between the two countries at the All-In Summit in Los Angeles. “Their (Beijing’s) policy is to unite Taiwan with China. From their point of view, it is perhaps like Hawaii or something similar, like an integral part of China that is arbitrarily not part of China, especially because (…) the US Pacific Fleet prevented any kind of reunification efforts by force,” he said in an AI Forum video posted on YouTube.
