Musketeers of Paris Find New Home at Stade Jean Bouin for ELF Matches

The Musketeers of Paris now have a home. The franchise announced on Monday that it will play its matches at Stade Jean Bouin.

For those who know neither rugby nor the 16th arrondissement of the capital, this enclosure can accommodate 20,000 supporters. It is located just next to the Parc des Princes (insert joke about the Champions League and PSG here), at Porte d’Auteuil, near metro line 9.

The French Stade Paris is the resident club at Jean Bouin.

The Musketeers’ first home game is scheduled for June 10, against the Stuttgart Surge. Tickets should go on sale soon. Still no information about a possible broadcaster.

If the enclosure is superb, filling it will be a huge challenge for an American football team. If the Mousquetaires press release is delighted to see that 32,000 tickets have already been sold for the ELF final in Duisburg next September, the lace-up ball remains much better established in Germany.

A few years ago, when the Diamant helmet was played at Charléty, another 20,000-seat stadium, the enclosure was generally filled to a large half. And places were sometimes free, as in 2013.
