Vienna (OTS/RK) The public will be reminded of the playwright and poet Jura Soyfer (1912 – 1939) with a “musical-literary collage” on Wednesday, March 22, from 6:30 p.m. in the rooms of the Leopoldstadt district museum (2nd, Karmelitergasse 9). The evening is entitled “My brother vagabond (what are you still looking for, you are a stranger here)” and is about the “life and death of a Jewish Viennese”. The artists Lena Rothstein and Tony Scholl (singing, storytelling, acting) dedicate themselves to works by Soyfer and are accompanied by the instrumentalists Michael Kneihs (piano) and Adula Ibn Quadr (violin). Jura Soyfer died in the Buchenwald concentration camp during the Nazi era. Admission is free. The volunteer museum team (director: Georg Friedler) welcomes donations from visitors.
