The artist’s lawyer, Hossam Habib, blew up a surprise about his client’s relationship with his ex-wife, Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab.
Counselor Jamil Saeed stated that his client has been residing in Sherine Abdel Wahab’s villa for some time, especially since Hossam Habib orally returned his ex-wife to his infallibility two weeks after their separation, and this was in the presence of 4 witnesses.
“Jamil” narrated: “Hossam confirmed that he divorced Shireen in November, and two weeks later he returned her to his infallibility, and since then he has lived with her in the marital nest, according to Hossam’s statements in the investigations.”
The lawyer noted, during his statements to the “Al-Hekaya” program, shown on the “MBC Egypt” satellite channel, and presented by the media, Amr Adib, that these witnesses are Sarah Al-Tabbakh, Sherine’s business manager, her private driver, and two other women.
On the other hand, “Jamil” stated that a dispute arose between his client and Sherine at exactly ten o’clock on Sunday evening, while the duo was inside the latter’s villa, which asked the former to leave.
According to the lawyer’s account, “Hossam” asked Sherine to wear his clothes so that he could leave, next to the key to the safe, to get his own weapon, before he was surprised by the appearance of Sarah Al-Tabbakh, the manager of his ex-wife’s business, to tell him that the police were about to arrive.
Jamil indicated that Shireen did not accuse his client of threatening her with weapons: “The license for his weapon has already expired, and the reason for his delay in his release is that there are similarities in the names of another person wanted by the security forces.”
The beginning of the crisis
And the Egyptian security services arrested the composer Hossam Habib, the divorced artist, Sherine Abdel Wahab, after a report the latter submitted to the police.
Sherine demanded that she take a pledge to her ex-husband after being exposed to her and her two daughters, after assaulting her with insults and slander, and the competent authorities began to investigate Habib in the accusations against him.
A security force had arrived at Shireen’s residence in Giza governorate in the center of the country, arrested her ex-husband and took him to the office of the department, and notified the Public Prosecution to conduct investigations with him.
Hossam Habib had decided that he was in Sherine Abdel Wahab’s villa, after agreements between them to finish an art project.
Later, the Public Prosecution Office in Sheikh Zayed City, Egypt, ordered the release of “Hossam” on a 10,000-pound bail.
