The conversation returned again about the reason for the divorce of the Lebanese artist, Haifa Wehbe, from Ahmed Abu Hashima during the past few days, after the latter’s separation from Yasmine Sabry, where many wondered about the reason for their divorce and whether it was similar to what happened to the Egyptian artist.
There were many rumors and questions about the reasons for the divorce of Haifa Wehbe and Ahmed Abu Hashima, although they issued a statement in which they stated that their divorce came from the complete conviction of both parties. And that the reason is a difference in views and that the friendship relationship will always bring them together.
Speculation arose that the Muslim Brotherhood was the reason behind the decision to divorce, and that they paid 30 million dollars to Abu Hashima to divorce Haifa Wehbe and they also bore the payment of her backside of 5 million dollars.
Rose El-Youssef magazine said, “Abu Hashima tried to exploit his economic influence to achieve his political ambition by joining the ranks of the National Party before the January 25 revolution by thinking of running for the 2010 parliamentary elections in the city of Sumasta in Beni Suef Governorate (northern Upper Egypt).
But this ambition soon collapsed, because the people of his constituency were not convinced of him except that he is (Jose al-Set), and that one of those close to him advised him not to run for fear that Haifa Wehbe’s competitors would exploit and offend her.
This forced him to file a complaint against the editor-in-chief of the magazine to the Egyptian Public Prosecutor on charges of insulting and slandering and publishing false news that would undermine his reputation and dignity.
