Mysterious Attack Leaves 17-Year-Old Injured in Montreal’s Saint-Michel District: Updates and Investigation Details

A 17-year-old young man was found with injuries to his body following a mysterious attack in the Saint-Michel district on Monday evening.

Around 8:00 p.m., the City of Montreal Police Department was alerted to the presence of an injured person who had appeared in front of a home on 17th Avenue near Louvain Street.

The young man was unconscious and had several injuries to his body when the police arrived, reported SPVM spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils. The victim was transported to a hospital and is now conscious, she said.

The exact circumstances of this attack are still unknown and the object which caused the injuries has not yet been identified.

A security perimeter was erected at the intersection of 17th avenue and rue Louvain, to allow SPVM investigators, accompanied by the canine unit, to carry out a search of the premises.
