As the ”Krone” reports, the man was found dead in his apartment in the greater Villach area at the end of January. The exact circumstances of the death were unclear from the beginning. At first, one would have suspected poisoning, but later one had found symptoms of suffocation. How this might happen must now be clarified. In addition, the deceased is said to have received a six-figure sum shortly before as a settlement from his employer.
Also Tina Frimmel-Hesse, Spokeswoman for the Klagenfurt Public Prosecutor’s Office, confirmed to 5 Minuten that unknown persons are currently being investigated in this case for negligent homicide.
