In the visual material of ERTNews, the 69-year-old woman can be seen moving in the dark and then throwing 4 puppies into a trash can.
A resident of the area heard the cries of the newborn puppies, informed the charity that took the animals, and takes care of three of the brothers, as the fourth died after a few days.
The resident who found the dogs in the bin reported the incident to the N. Ionia Police Department.
Police officers of the department, using the visual material, identified the 69-year-old woman, who confessed that she threw the puppies in the garbage and claimed that she did it because she could not take care of them.
A criminal case file was opened and an administrative fine of 120,000 euros was imposed on her.
The case file was assigned by the Prosecutor’s Office to a competent Investigator.
