NAC surprises with arrival of Terence Kongolo

Kongolo is a left-footed defender who can play both as a left central defender and left back. He broke through in the Eredivisie about ten years ago at Feyenoord, where he also played in the youth. He then made a transfer to AS Monaco. After that he played for Huddersfield and Fulham, among others. His contract with the latter club expired last June. Kongolo has been a free agent since then.

Peter Maas on the NAC website: “We were looking for a great opportunity in terms of experience and power, so that our staff has more room to vary. Terence can be deployed in multiple positions at the back. That gives exactly the extra possibilities we were looking for. We believe that with his profile he can be a good addition with a view to maintaining his position in the Eredivisie.”
