Nadia Mustafa to “Al-Ittihad”: The Gulf song appeals to me

Said Yassin (Cairo)

In her interview with Al-Ittihad, singer Nadia Mustafa said: I love the Gulf song, and I like its words and melodies. She talked about her success in the past with a number of songs that depend on Gulf rhythms close to her heart and the hearts of her Arab audience. She revealed that she is preparing to record a new Gulf song, after “Talmouni Anna”, which she recently presented, written by Daniel and composed by Nabil Al-Ghanim.
She stated that she did not expect the great success of “Blamoni Anna”, and praised her words, which were the reason for agreeing to sing it as soon as it was presented to her.
Its beginning says:

The morning that if I see him I see the world with his eyes
He forgets the worries of time and makes all my time happy
It is forbidden for time to force me and leave me without it
I feel the soul taking it and I am the hardest of my cases
My life is in his hands, he took it as a pawn to him
Time forced me and made me surrender all my flags

Mostafa pointed out that the concerts that are held in the Gulf countries and a number of tourist villages in Egypt, in addition to the Egyptian opera concerts, represent an important outlet for Arab singers of different generations, especially in light of the cessation of television nights concerts and city lights, the significant decline of musical production companies, and the limited Attendance is for those who have the ability to produce and film a single song and display it on electronic platforms and social networking sites.
Nadia denied what was recently reported about her intention to run for the seat of the Syndicate of Musical Professions after the resignation of Hani Shaker, and stressed that this seat represents a great responsibility, and needs a strong and dedicated person to the max.
