Media reported that Julian Nagelsmann, the former coach of Bayern Munich, has become a candidate to coach Tottenham, following the English club dismissed its Italian coach, Antonio Conte.

The Daily Mail reported that club president Daniel Levy wants to speak with the German coach regarding his willingness to coach the team.

Nagelsmann was sacked from Bayern Munich’s training last Friday, and was replaced by former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel.

After a week of speculation, Tottenham broke up with Conte on Sunday evening.

The move follows his extraordinary remarks following last week’s 3-3 draw with Southampton, in which he spoke angrily regarding his selfish players.

Until the end of the season, assistant coach Christian Stellini will coach the team.

According to media reports, the club is also considering the return of Mauricio Pochettino, who coached Tottenham from 2014 to 2019 and led them to the Champions League final in 2019.
