While many couples celebrate birthdays together, renowned Indonesian entertainers Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina found themselves miles apart on their special days. Raffi Ahmad,a prominent figure in the entertainment industry and a special delegate for the advancement of the younger generation and art workers,celebrated his 38th birthday on February 17,2025.Meanwhile, his wife, Nagita Slavina, turned 37 on the same day while enjoying a trip to Spain with their son, Rayyanza, and some close friends.

Raffi’s birthday celebrations took him to Labuan Bajo, where he engaged in tourism promotion and interacted with the local community. Nagita, conversely, opted for a more leisurely getaway in Spain, sharing moments with Rayyanza and their companions.

“Mah, the teeth are suspicious at 12 at night, isn’t it right mama video call?” said Raffi to Rieta Amilia.

“Right,” Rieta answered beside Amy Qanita.

Raffi playfully revealed that Rieta Amilia, his mother-in-law, was the first to wish him a happy birthday. He recounted, “Said first, Mama Rieta. Rafathar came to bring a cake, video call and Gigi, her phone (Mama Rieta) died. (Gigi asked) ‘love that?'”

Raffi also admitted that their marriage has always involved playful birthday squabbles. “In the beginning, we married it was fighting. If there was a birthday there was an event like this was told to come he did not want to. So if he wanted to sleep, he wanted to sleep, leha-leha, spending time. I used to have an event in the morning,afternoon,evening,usually invited,” he explained.

Despite the occasional friction, Raffi affirmed that Nagita has grown accustomed to his celebratory style over their 10 years together. however, their recent circumstances forced them to celebrate apart.”I have a task for the country.The birthday is Monday, while Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I went out of town. Archyde: After a decade of marriage,you and nagita Slavina found yourselves apart during your joint birthday celebrations. Tell us about your experience.

Raffi Ahmad: Well, it was a bittersweet moment, to be honest. Nagita and I have always been together on our birthdays, so this year was quite different. I was busy with a tourism promotion event in Labuan Bajo, and she was enjoying a vacation in spain with our son and close friends.

Archyde: There seemed to be some tension surrounding the celebrations. Can you share more about that?

Raffi Ahmad: (Laughs) Yes, we had a slight disagreement about how we shoudl celebrate. Nagita was a bit upset that we couldn’t be together, but she understood that my work commitments took priority. I’m grateful for her understanding, but I do feel a bit guilty that she had to celebrate her birthday without me.

Archyde: Your eldest son,Rafathar,pulled a midnight surprise for you. Can you tell our readers about that?

Raffi Ahmad: Oh, that was a wonderful surprise! He brought a cake at midnight while I was on a video call with Nagita. I had to quickly end the call as I didn’t wont her to suspect anything. (Laughs) But she’s too smart for that. She picked up on my suspicious behavior and called me out on it later.

Archyde: Looking back on your career and marriage, you’ve both been in the limelight since your early days together.How have you managed to maintain your relationship amidst the challenges that come with fame?

Raffi ahmad: It hasn’t been easy, but Nagita and I have always respected each other’s careers and compromises. We’ve grown accustomed to our celebratory styles over the years.There have been playful squabbles, but ultimately, our love and commitment to each other remain constant.

Archyde: Lastly, what advice would you give to other couples who face similar challenges due to work commitments or long-distance relationships?

Raffi Ahmad: Dialog is key. Always keep each other in the loop about your schedules and plans. Trust and understanding go a long way in maintaining a strong relationship.And remember, distance is only physical. love should always be present, no matter where you are in the world.
