Nahuel Guzmán of Tigres will be investigated for using lasers in the Royal Classic

The Disciplinary Commission of the Mexican Soccer Federation reported this Monday that opened an investigation against Nahuel Guzmán, goalkeeper of the Tigersdue to the incident he took part in with a laser beam during the Royal Classic from matchday 15 of the Clausura 2024 of the MX League.

The Argentine goalkeeper took out a laser, which targeted several players of the Monterrey from one of the boxes of the Steel giantwhich was captured on video, so it went viral on social networks.

According to the statement released by the Disciplinary Commission, Guzman violated articles 26 and 28 of the code of ethics, which mention that no player may carry out actions that expose the sportsmanship, as well as the physical integrity of rivals.

Article 33 specifies that when there is no defined sanction, the president of Liga MX, in this case Mikel Arriola, could intervene to determine the punishment.
