Macagi Cingoli Staff Member Named to National Handball Team Coaching staff
Cingoli, Italy – A key member of the Macagi Cingoli handball team’s technical staff, Nando Nocelli, has received a prestigious appointment to the coaching staff of the Italian National under-18 handball team. The declaration underscores the growing recognition of talent within the Macagi Cingoli organization and Italian handball as a whole.

Nando Nocelli, who also serves as an assistant coach in Macagi Cingoli’s youth sector, will work alongside head coach Alessandro Tarafino. Tarafino, a highly respected figure in Italian handball with a long and successful career, most recently led Conversano to a championship victory before transitioning to the national team role. Nocelli’s selection follows his interim leadership role at Chieti, where he assisted in identifying athletes for the upcoming European Championships preparation, scheduled for Turkey in the summer of 2027.
“I am logically honored to have been appointed as a collaborator to a master of handball such as Tarafino,” Nocelli stated. “We will begin a series of training camps,with the first one scheduled for next week in Slovenia.”
