The young woman, according to investigators, called the subject when the parents left the house and went shopping around 10 a.m. on February 21.
Enrique Barrera, father of Samara Nicolle, reported on the day of the incident that his wife, at 11:45 a.m., received a call from the babysitter who told him that his daughter was wrapped in sheets and was not breathing.
“My wife was very upset,” Barrera highlighted. “I entered my house and the police were there. The babysitter had the baby in her lap and I said: What happened? Then the paramedics arrived,” she recalled.
“We put her on the floor to give her the respective oxygen; However, they told me that they could do nothing with her,” he added. “The paramedics told me that my daughter had been dead for about 45 minutes,” he said, visibly dismayed.

According to the official information shared by the MP, this diligence made it possible to “collect evidence that will be important for the investigation, among these seven cell phones and clothing items,” which belong to the nanny’s alleged boyfriend.
