NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment have announced Phase 1 of a unidirectional collaboration between Naraka: Bladepoint and Blizzard Entertainment’s Hearthstone, bringing official Hearthstone content into a non-Blizzard title for the first time.
Breaking the Proprietary Wall in Modern Game Architecture
Familiar elements of the strategic card game now populate the battle royale’s servers.
Inside the Phase 1 Content Drop and Murloc Cosmetics
The update wastes no time deploying fan-favorite IP directly onto player characters. According to the official announcement details, players can boot up the game to claim a complimentary Murloc head cosmetic. This item maps one of Hearthstone’s most recognizable aquatic creatures straight onto Naraka’s character models.
Audio-visual cues from the card game have also been deeply integrated into match loops. Players can deploy a speech-bubble emote to trigger Anduin’s legendary «¡Wow!» audio line. Furthermore, high-rarity item drops inside Troves trigger the unmistakable voice cues that long-time card game fans instantly recognize:
- «¡Épico!»
- «¡Wow… Legendario!»
Traditional match loot boxes are getting a direct UI overhaul as well. A specialized Hearthstone-themed Trove aspect visually transforms standard in-game chests into classic card packs. The visual design mirrors the tactile excitement of opening a high-tier digital booster pack right in the middle of a melee engagement.
Season 20 Updates, Passes, and the 2027 Roadmap
Beyond the Blizzard crossover, 24 Entertainment outlined major gameplay additions arriving alongside Season 20, as reported by Bonus Stage. The update builds on earlier crossover successes by launching a second phase of content with Vegetable Fairy. This wave brings specialized weapon cosmetics across multiple item classes, including daggers, poleswords, and fistblades. Limited-time cosmetic reruns are also active, giving players another shot at past community-favorite items.

Progression hunters also get a dedicated seasonal track. A brand-new school-themed Battle Pass is live, offering structured tier rewards to drive engagement throughout the season. NetEase and 24 Entertainment have already confirmed that the partnership will expand further, scheduling Phase 2 of the Hearthstone crossover for a 2027 rollout.
