NASA discovers “hell” and the Catholic Church reacts

For many people, hell is a supernatural place that will produce a state of infinite suffering for those who have done wrong on the earthly plane; however, for scientists, that space would be located at a physical point in the universe.

So he shared it at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the USA) in a series of sightings made with the James Webb telescope, with which it was possible to appreciate the exoplanet called ’55 Cancri e’ or ‘super-earth’; to experts, this body in space is known as hell itself.

NASA scientists describe it that way, since it is covered with lava; It is worth mentioning that something like this had never been appreciated in another world before. The discovery caught the interest of experts, because the geological diversity of the ‘super-Earth’ would allow us to know how planets like Earth evolve.

NASA has shared that ’55 Cancri e’ has a surface temperature higher than the melting point of the minerals in the rocks of our planet; They also believe that the side that could not be seen is made up of oceans of lava.

The discovered planet orbits at a distance of 2.5 million kilometers from a star similar to the Sun, so it takes 18 hours to complete one revolution around said celestial body.

Reaction of the Catholic Church

The priest and Doctor of Philosophy from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, Mario Arroyo, said that hell is not a physical place but a “state of eternal and definitive deprivation of God”, as revealed in a press release. collected by the Semana portal.

Arroyo added that, although the planet ’55 Cancri e’ has extreme heat conditions, it is a world that is probably “not exempt from the presence of God”.

As if that were not enough, the scholar stressed that the spiritual fire and the material fire are totally different; since the high temperatures of the ‘super-earth’ are not caused by spiritual fire, as they are those that prevail in the underworld.
