NASA published a video clip that monitors the features and effects of the solar eclipse on the surface of Mars.
The clip, captured by NASA’s Rovers, Opportunity, and Curiosity, documented the moments when sunlight was blocked out on Mars.
And the phenomenon of a solar eclipse seemed different from what humans see on planet Earth.
The essence of the difference in the features of the phenomenon when compared to Earth is that the Earth’s moon takes 27 days to complete its cycle, while Phobos orbits Mars once every 7.65 hours.
Deimos also orbits Mars every 30.35 hours.
Phobos is larger than Deimos, blocking 40% of sunlight.
