LOS ANGELES, Mar. 8 (Xinhua) — NASA has revealed that the Mars surface probe “Curiosity” (Curiosity) has recorded the solar radiation on Mars for the first time.

Reports indicate that the probe Captured the sun’s rays shining through the clouds at sunset on Feb. 2, the 3,730th day of the Mars mission. This is the first time to see the sun’s rays clearly on Mars.

Curiosity was also able to record a multi-colored, plume-shaped cloud on Jan. 27, and some cloud types exposed to sunlight also produce iridescence. (iridescence) like the colors of the rainbow

NASA says Curiosity recorded a panoramic image of the sun and rainbow clouds. Each image was stitched together from 28 images sent back to Earth. Those images were edited to highlight the highlights.

Curiosity is the largest and most capable surface probe ever sent to Mars. It was launched into space on Nov. 26, 2011 and landed on Mars on Aug. 5, 2012.
