Doha – Qatar’s rally driver Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah won the title of Qatar International Rally Champion for the 17th time.
Al Attiyah was victorious once more on home soil following exciting rounds in Qatar’s northern desert. It was co-driver Mathieu Baumell’s sixth victory in Qatar and 31st of his career.
The Al-Attiyah-Mathew combination is racing towards the FIA Middle East Rally Championship following winning seven of the 13 special stages. The championship will be held in Jordan from May 18 to 20.
