Riyadh: National film awardee Nanjiamma is coming to Saudi as the chief guest at the 13th anniversary celebration program of Navodaya Arts and Culture Venue. Nanjiamma, who is famous for her folk songs in the movie ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’, will arrive in Riyadh on October 21. The open stage at Al-Uwaida Farm, Riyadh Alhair Road will also feature a music and comedy show by the M80 Musa team including Surabhi Lakshmi, Vinod Kowur and Kabir along with Nanjiamma’s folk songs.

A 101-member reception team has been formed for the success of the celebrations. Pookoya Thangal will be the chairman and Kummil Sudhir will be the convener. Shaju Pathanapuram, Abdul Kalam, Anju Sajin (Joint Convenors), Anil Manambur, Harris, Athira Gopan (Vice Chairmen), Babuji, Nisar Ahmed, Anil Manambur, Shaiju Chembur, Anil Pirapankot, Manoharan, Sriraj, Gopan Kollam, Fabin, Ani Muhammad, Mithun, Arun, Naufal, Sajevan, Lal, Ismail Kannur, Anju Shaju, Ameer and Mritun will serve as office bearers of various sub-committees. Pookoya Thangal presided over the meeting. Secretary Ravindran introduced the panel of office bearers.
