Kickl had already been extradited by Parliament in mid-April last year for a similar case. Even then, the opposition had rejected the request unanimously. The penalty is between 50 and 500 euros.
The next session of the National Council is scheduled for February 23. Even before that, specifically on February 3, the Federal Council meets. If the regional chamber also agrees to the vaccination requirement, it can become effective in the days that follow.
