On Friday the 12th, most of the country will be clear, but fine dust will be rampant.
The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that the country would be mostly clear on this day due to the influence of high pressure moving from China’s Bohai Bay to the West Sea. The southern region and Jeju Island will be cloudy at times.
Due to the influence of air pollutants flowing in and stagnating from home and abroad, fine dust will be at a ‘bad’ level in the Gangwon Yeongdong, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions, and ‘bad’ in the remaining regions. Ultrafine dust is expected to be ‘bad’ across the country.
The lowest morning temperature is forecast to be -7 to 5 degrees, higher than normal, and the highest daytime temperature is forecast to be 2 to 12 degrees.

Between dawn and 9 a.m., there will be fog with a visibility of less than 1 km, mainly in the metropolitan area, Chungcheong area, and Jeolla area. Fog will be thicker near rivers, lakes, valleys, and at tunnel entrances, and roads will be slippery, so be careful about traffic safety.
In the distant East Sea, the wind is blowing very strongly at 35 to 60 km per hour, and the waves are very high at 2 to 4 meters, so there is a possibility that a storm warning will be issued.
In areas where snow has recently accumulated, there may be areas where icy roads and thin ice appear on roads as the snow melts during the day and freezes overnight. Particular attention must be paid to traffic safety.
