National News Agency – Abi Ramia presented in France the general situation in Lebanon

NNA – Chairman of the Lebanese-French Parliamentary Friendship Committee, MP Simon Abi Ramia, visited the French Parliament, as part of his visit to France, accompanied by the head of the Rally for Lebanon in France, Dr. Antoine Chedid.

Abi Ramia met MP Karim Ben Sheikh, who belongs to the French Left Party, and vice-president of the “Lebanese-French Parliamentary Friendship Association.” He previously held the position of Consul General of France in Lebanon.

He also met with Representative Emmanuel Mandon, a member of the Administration and Justice Committee, who belongs to the “French Center Party” and the “ruling parliamentarian”, and he is – in addition to that – an old friend of Lebanon.
Abi Ramia presented, with Ben Cheikh and Mandoun, the general atmosphere in Lebanon, especially the presidential election, the recovery plan, and the work of the Lebanese Parliament at the level of the laws on its agenda.

Abi Ramia thanked France for its support to Lebanon in its crises, pointing to “the need to activate parliamentary coordination between the Lebanese Parliament and the French Parliament.”

The frameworks for cooperation in development files, especially in projects related to the Byblos region, were also discussed.
