National News Agency – Lebanon’s under-18 team qualifies for West Asian Championship final

NNA – The Lebanese men’s basketball team for the under-18 category has qualified for the final of the West Asian Championship hosted by the Syrian capital, Damascus, which will be held at seven in the evening on Saturday, knowing that the tournament qualifies for the Asian Championship hosted by Iran next month.

The Cedars team won a big victory over its Palestinian counterpart, with a score of 100-38, in the semi-finals.

This is the fourth victory for Lebanon, which won Monday over Palestine, Tuesday over Syria, and Wednesday over Iraq, and topped the overall standings, to beat Palestine in the semi-finals.

Lebanon will meet in the final the winner of the second match of the semi-final between Syria and Iraq.
