National News Agency – Marei Association lit up the headquarters of the Union of Fayhaa Municipalities using solar energy and equipped Tripoli Firefighters with electrical supplies

NNA – Tripoli – The “Marei Association” for Charitable Activities announced, in a statement, that it “lit the headquarters of the Union of Fayhaa Municipalities with lamps of 2000 W power through solar energy, as the bulbs were installed at the entrances of the Union, its buildings and yards with the headquarters of the Union Fire Department in Tripoli.

It also provided an APS device with a large battery for emergency communication devices and lamps for rooms.

The Union Council had agreed in its last session, with the participation of the Acting President of the Union, the Mayor of Al Beddawi Hassan Ghamrawi, the Mayor of Tripoli, Dr. Riyad Yamaq, and the Secretary General of the North Governorate, the Mayor of El Mina Municipality, Iman Al Rafei, to accept the free gift from the Marei Charitable Association.

The President of the Union, Hassan Ghamrawi, thanked the Marei Association for its humanitarian initiative and its tireless work aimed at helping public and private institutions and lighting the main and secondary streets and squares through solar energy at a time when electricity is absent from official administrations and institutions.
