NNA – The Department of Meteorology at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expected the weather tomorrow to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a slight decrease in temperatures, especially in the interior and on the mountains. In the visibility on mountain roads, and spray falls on the heights, especially the northern ones, during the evening period, with active winds.
The bulletin stated the following:
General status: Mild and humid summer weather, with temperatures below their rates on the coast, dominate Lebanon in the coming days.
(The average temperature for the month of August on the coast ranges between 25 and 33 degrees).
Warning of the danger of fires in forested and inland areas.
– Weather expected in Lebanon: Sunday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times and without a slight change in temperatures on the coast, while it drops slightly in the interior and northern regions, dense fog sometimes forms on the heights, which leads to poor visibility with the possibility of some rain falling on the northern heights in Evening period with active winds.
Monday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a slight decrease in temperatures, especially in the interior and on the mountains, as the winds are active sometimes, dense fog sometimes forms on the heights from the afternoon, leading to poor visibility on the mountain roads, and the spray falls on the heights, especially the northern ones, during the evening period.
