National: Posthumous Promotion of Murdered Police Officer during Proceedings in Quilpué Announced by General Yáñez.

Manuel Lema Olguin from UNO Agency reported that Sergeant Rita Olivares, who was murdered during a procedure in Quilpué, received a posthumous promotion to major warrant officer for her heroic action and commitment to the country. The General Director of Carabineros, Ricardo Yáñez, also announced the change of name of the El Belloto Tenancy to Suboficial Mayor Rita Olivares Rai Tenancy. President Gabriel Boric attended the response to bid farewell to the officer and offer condolences to her family. The funeral procession was later held at the Parque del Sendero Cemetery.
