A new step was taken yesterday for the implementation of the medical career in the province. The National University of Catamarca (UNCA), together with the Health Commission, presented the degree to CONEAU, which is the last step for its formalization.
In this framework, Governor Raúl Jalil also held a meeting with the president of CONEAU, Néstor Pan, with whom he talked about the importance of implementing this race in our province and the possibilities it will mean for thousands of young people from Catamarca. The president also invited the highest authority of the CONEAU to visit our province to learn how work is being done for the implementation of the race.
The Commission that worked together with the UNCA in preparing the project is made up of the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Omar Barrionuevo; the Minister of Health, Manuela Ávila; the doctors Alberto Levi and Luciana Collar Bolsoti, and the provincial deputy Claudia Palladino.
It must be remembered that the Government of Catamarca will provide the necessary infrastructure for the dictation of the degree, and for this reason it is renovating the property where the former INTI (which it ceded to the University) worked in the south of the city where the classrooms, laboratory will be located. , among other necessary spaces for the development of the academic activities of the Medicine career.
