Jawed Karim, Chad Hurley and Steve Chen could not imagine the impact that their creation would have in the coming years, becoming one of the main creative platforms in the world and changing the lives of thousands of people.

Last year, YouTube released some significant data about its impact in Brazil. In 2022 alone, the platform helped generate more than 140,000 full-time equivalent jobs and contributed more than R$4.55 billion to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Furthermore, the company revealed that the number of YouTubers continues to grow, having registered a 20% increase in the latest channels with more than one million subscribers.
