NATO brings field tents to Turkey after the earthquake | Europe

According to AFP, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) announced on February 10 that the member countries of this military alliance had agreed to send field tents to Turkey to help this ally supply accommodation for people who lost their homes after the recent devastating earthquake.

The tents are often used by NATO forces as headquarters for military operations and exercises.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said: “NATO stands in close solidarity with our ally Turkey and the deployment of these tents will save lives.”

NATO said the tent This can be equipped with a number of amenities such as heating, generator and medical equipment.

The installation of these tents will be overseen by the Supreme Commander of NATO Allied Forces in Europe, US General Christopher Cavoli.
