NATO Secretary General said there was no “deadline” for the admission of Sweden and Finland

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Sunday that the organization is not considering the June summit in Madrid, which is scheduled for June 28-30, as a deadline for admitting Sweden and Finland into the alliance.

Thus, Stoltenberg answered the question of journalists whether NATO would be able to remove Turkey’s objections to admitting these countries to its ranks during the summit.

Earlier it was reported that Turkey requested written guarantees from Finland and Sweden to resolve the differences before their entry into NATO. Ankara’s demands are related to the support by these countries of organizations that are recognized as terrorist in Turkey.

The administration of the Turkish leader Erdogan reported that the terrorists who committed terrorist attacks in Turkey were supplied with weapons by Sweden.
