Navy asks not to speculate on helicopter crash in Sinaloa

The Secretary of the Navy, through the Mexican Navy, reported that the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) is in charge of the investigations into the accident of the Black Hawk helicopter of this Institution, which occurred on July 15 in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, to determine the causes that originated it.

That day, Semar carried out an operation in which it captured Rafael Caro Quintero, leader of the Guadalajara Cartel, who was a fugitive and is required by the United States justice system.

Likewise, the Navy “carefully asks public opinion to wait for the results of the investigation carried out by the FGR to avoid speculation regarding what happened with the aforementioned Mexican Navy aircraft.”

Through a statement, Semar said that “once the investigation is over, they will announce its results.”
