Khris Middleton will not be fit to play against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semi-finals of the play-offs. According to The Athleticthe Bucks winger, who injured his left knee in the second game of the first round won by Milwaukee against Chicago (4-1), suffers from a sprain of the internal lateral ligament of stage 2, which can double of a partial rupture.
He therefore has almost no chance of being operational to return at some point in this series which will begin on Sunday in Boston, in the best of seven matches. And he has little chance even of playing in the Eastern Conference final, if by chance his defending champion team qualifies. Without giving further details, his coach, Mike Budenholzer, said Middleton will be re-evaluated next Wednesday after the first two games in Massachusetts.

Middleton was injured in the fourth quarter of the match lost against the Bulls (114-110), on a bad support initiating a rotational movement.
