Record Jokic, Winning Wagners and Booker Gala!
What an NBA game day! Nikola Jokic and Devin Booker show an absolute points gala. The Wagner brothers shine again and lead the Orlando Magic to the next victory.
Jokic on record hunt
Nikola Jokic (27) had another career triple-double with 40 points, 27 rebounds and 10 assists and helped the Denver Nuggets to a 119-115 against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday night.
It was Jokic’s fifth triple-double of the season and his 81st overall. He is only the third player in NBA history to have at least 40 points, 25 rebounds and 10 assists in a game. NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain did it four times and Lakers legend Elgin Baylor once.
Jokic, who is the second player with a 40-point triple-double this season alongside Dallas’ Luka Doncic (23) (Doncic has three), sealed Denver’s win Sunday with two free throws 13 seconds from time.
Nuggets trainer Michael Malone also raves about his protégé. After the game he says: “I didn’t know it was a 40-27-10 night but I knew he had another Nikola Jokic star performance, absolutely efficient. Yes, Nikola is a generational talent.”
58 points! Also booker with points gala
Devin Booker (26) once again showed an amazing performance and threw the Phoenix Suns to 118:114 against the New Orleans Pelicans. With a total of 58 points, he just missed the point record of the season so far! Joel Embiid (28) of the Philadelphia 76ers currently holds the record for most points played (59) in a game.
But: Booker is the first player to break the 50-point mark twice this season.
Wagner brothers continue on the road to success
The German basketball brothers Moritz and Franz Wagner are still on the road to success with their Orlando Magic team. Two days after the first surprise success against runner-up Boston Celtics (117:109), the team also won the second game against the same opponent with 95:92.
The two German national players helped to achieve an important victory. Franz (21), who sank an important three just two minutes before the end, scored twelve points and six rebounds – Moritz (25) secured the win late at the free-throw line and contributed eleven points and five rebounds.

LA Lakers also win with Schroeder
National player Dennis Schröder was also successful with his Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers celebrated a 119:117 against the Washington Wizards. The Braunschweiger scored twelve points, two rebounds and seven assists in the game. Lakers superstar LeBron James had 33 points. The Lakers have won three of their last four games.
