The police said Sunday morning to have now made 191 arrests of protesters. Additionally, 57 vehicles were towed away, while those obstructing Kent Street and Bay Street were cleared.
Police confirmed that of this number, 103 people have been charged. The vast majority face charges of mischief and obstruction of police work.
City employees take advantage of the opportunity to carry out major snow removal work. They are also asking residents to move their vehicles.
The safe zone is still in place in downtown Ottawa to allow authorities to clear the streets and prevent a return of protesters.
However, on Sunday morning, the officers present were no longer wearing their riot gear.
