Neemias Queta has not lasted long in free agency. The 24-year-old center has signed a two-way contract to join the Boston Celtics; reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The player, who was recently released by the Sacramento Kings, arrives in Boston to reinforce the team’s interior game through a two-way agreement that will allow him to play up to 50 regular season games with the Celtics.
Being chosen in 39th place in the 2021 draft, the Portuguese player has taken the court a total of 19 times with the Kings in the last two seasons to average 3 points and 2.2 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per night.
