Neeraj Chopra finished second in Zurich Diamond League men’s javelin throw. Jakub Valdez of the Czech Republic won. Neeraj lost the top spot by a margin of 15 cm. Germany’s Julian Weber is third. Neeraj’s three chances in the match were fouled. Only two throws made it past 85 meters. Neeraj, who was in fifth place at the end of the first three rounds, took the lead in the later throws. Neeraj qualified for the Diamond League Finals. The final is on September 17.
