Vienna (OTS) At today’s state members’ meeting in Styria, the previous NEOS state spokesman Niko Swatek was confirmed in his position with 78.26 percent. “I warmly congratulate Niko and all other members of the country team. The good result confirms our policy for a new generation,” says NEOS Secretary General Douglas Hoyos. “Since our entry into the state parliament and numerous Styrian municipalities, we have been fighting every day for freedom, progress and justice and showing that corruption, cronyism, populism and convenience are the wrong path. With Niko Swatek at the helm, we are focusing on where positive change is needed.”

Niko Swatek: “I would have liked a clearer result and would like to thank everyone who has placed their trust in me. But I am all the more motivated to continue working towards our vision of an affordable and livable Styria – from inflation to healthcare to the education system . So that NEOS will continue to make the difference in the future.”
